Smart Content Editor
The MindTouch editor is a familiar WYSIWYG interface that is robust and easy to use. The editor allows authors who may be unfamiliar with topic-based authoring to easily build content while still providing the robust strength of an XML publishing tool required by content strategists.

To create a link, simply add some text to your page, and highlight that text. From there, click on the link button within our editor:
This will then provide a link dialog allowing you to search for articles or browse a hierarchy. Either way, you get the choice of selecting the appropriate article to link to:
If you'd like to link to an external URL, simply type your full URL in the Link To field:
Finally, if you'd like to force the link to open in a new window, simply choose the "Open in new window" radio button in the Link Options area:
Working with styles
The styles drop-down menu allows authors to add some variance to their standard paragraph text:
Most common used styles:
- <pre> Format: used to document programming language code; commonly referred to as the Code Syntax Highlighter (example below).
- Blockquote: similar to quotations in magazines, we recommend using this for pointing out reminders and pro-tips about your product (example below).
- Comment: this is an inline comment that is only displayed to Pro Members when editing the page; think of these as internal instructions or annotations while editing (example below).
