Kareo Platform Release Notes August 23, 2018

Kareo continues to enhance the customer experience by releasing new features, making enhancements, squashing bugs, and delivering fresh documentation. Here's an update of the recent product improvements we've made with the Kareo Platform so you can easily stay up to date on what's new!

Patient Search Enhancements

The new patient search allows users to search the patient's name or date of birth in various formats.

This enhancement will help eliminate duplicate record creation and improve the front desk's workflow.

Available search formats:

  • FirstName LastName
  • FirstName, LastName
  • FirstName MiddleName LastName
  • FirstName M LastName
  • LastName FirstName
  • LastNameFirstName
  • mm/dd/yyyy
  • m/d/yyyy
  • mm/dd/yy
  • m/d/yy
  • mmddyyyy
When creating a new appointment, inactive patients will not display as an option. Search_Patient_Appt_DOB.png

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message when accessing appointment status from outstanding items
  • Fixed an issue where group appointments cannot be saved
  • Fixed an issue where the case was not saving in the appointment
  • Fixed an issue where clicking edit on the staff calendar will take the user back to the agenda
