  • Upgrades to Direct Messaging, including access to a directory with 500,000 providers.
  • Improvements to Labs and Studies 2.0

To see all improvements to Kareo EHR see below.

Direct Messaging Upgrades powered by a searchable Provider Directory with over 500,000 Providers

Kareo is proud to announce our Direct Messaging service has been upgraded from Updox Version 1 to Version 2.

The most noteworthy improvement is the provider directory search, available via the Updox Address Book. The Updox Provider Directory grants practices access to over 500,000 providers in the US. Any providers who have a DTAAP (Direct Trusted Agent Accreditation Program) accredited direct messaging service, will be available via the new provider directory. This feature saves you time, removing the need to contact referring providers for messaging addresses and allowing practices to send and receive data to/from referring providers.

The provider directory can be found by opening the menu, clicking on Tasks and then Direct Inbox.
