After activating Kareo Patient Collect and completing the payments setup, System Administrators can consolidate their payment processors for front office and back office into one solution with the Stripe credit card terminal. A Verifone P400 countertop card reader is used with the Stripe terminal to offer a reliable and secure in-person payments solution that supports chip, swipe, and contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Access Stripe Dashboard Hover over the User icon and click on Practice Settings. The Practice Settings page opens. Click Patient Payments. The Patient Payments page opens. Click Log into your Stripe Dashboard. The Stripe page opens. Note: The Stripe Dashboard can also be accessed by going directly to the Stripe Sign in page.
Purchase Verifone P400 Reader For more information or questions about orders, review Placing Orders or contact Stripe support. Click Readers. Additional options expands. Note: If the Readers option is not listed, click Settings. Under the Explore more products section, locate the Terminal product and click the add icon. The Terminal pop-up window opens, then click Get started. The Readersoption is now listed on the left side menu. Click Hardware orders. The Hardware order page opens. Click Shop. The Terminal hardware page opens.
Click Verifone P400 Card Reader. The Verifone P400 Card Reader page opens.
Review the Verifone P400 Card Reader details. Then, click to select the appropriate quantity from the drop-down menu and click Add to cart. Complete the purchase when ready. Once the Verifone P400 card reader is received, complete the setup to connect to the Stripe terminal.
