Navigate Patient Payments Settings

The Patient Payments page allows System Administrators to activate Patient Payments for the practice and view connected Stripe Terminals. For Engage subscribers, manage the option to send a Credit Card Authorization form through the Patient Intake workflow.

Access Patient Payments

  1. Hover over the User icon and click on Practice Settings. The Practice Settings page opens.
  2. Click Patient Payments. The Patient Payment settings page opens.

Navigate Patient Payments

Activate Patient Payments to access the following features.

  1. Patient Payments: Log into the Stripe Dashboard or review the Stripe and Patient Payments FAQs.
  2. Stripe Terminal: Displays purchased terminals that have been set up. The status shows as offline when the terminal is powered off or has no internet connection.
  3. Payment Settings: By default, the option to send a Credit Card Authorization form through the Patient Intake workflow is enabled (Engage Subscribers). This allows patients to add, edit, or remove credits card(s) on file and electronically sign the authorization form. To disable, click Off.
