Search for a Pharmacy

When creating a prescription, the pharmacy last used for the patient is displayed in the Pharmacy field. However, you can look for a different pharmacy by using the Search function. Kareo Clinical is Surescripts certified, enabling you to electronically send prescriptions to any pharmacy in their national network.

Navigate to a New Prescription

  1. Enter the first 2–3 letters of the patient's name in the top search box.
  2. Click to select the patient from the auto-populated results. The patient's chart opens.
  3. Click Medications in the left menu. The Active Medications page displays.
  4. Click + Prescription at the top right. The Prescribe Medication window opens.
  5. Click Search next to the Pharmacy field. The Pharmacy Search tool opens.
