Edit an Insurance Authorization

Patient authorizations can be edited through the patient's Account page.

Navigate to Patient Chart / Account

From the Dashboard

  1. Enter the first 2–3 letters of the patient's name in the top navigation search bar.
  2. Click to select the patient from the auto-populated results. The patient's chart Demographics opens.
  3. Click Account on the left menu. The patient's Account  page opens.
 

From an Appointment on the Calendar

  1.  Hover over Menu and click Calendar. The Calendar opens.
  2. Click on the patient appointment. The Edit Appointment window opens.
  3. Click Edit next to the insurance information. The patient's Account  page opens.
 

Edit an Insurance Authorization

  1. Click the Insurance  tab to open the Insurance  page.
  2. Click Edit on the right of the appropriate insurance case. The Edit Insurance Case window opens.
  3. Click the Authorizations tab on the appropriate Policy.
  4. To make changes to an authorization, click Edit on the right of the Authorization summary. The authorization details open. 
  5. Make desired edits to the authorization information.
  6. Click Save Authorization when finished.
  7. Click Save & Finish at the bottom of the window when all edits have been made to the case.
