An application administrator can reset a user's password at any time. Once a new temporary password has been set for the user, the user will be prompted at next login to enter a new permanent password.
Note: Users can change their password at any time (see Password Change).
To reset a user password
- Click Settings > User Accounts.
- Once you find the user, click once on the record to open it.
- Check the "Set new password" box.
- Enter a new password and verify it by entering it again in the "Verify password" box.
- Click Save Changes.
Note: To protect the security of the account, the Kareo Support team cannot unlock deactivated users. If your user login is locked and cannot reset your password please contact your Account Administrator for assistance.
