Billing General Improvements

  • Kareo was updated with the new CPT codes for the bivalent COVID-19 vaccine booster doses from Moderna and Pfizer, effective August 31, 2022. Visit the AMA website for more information.
  • The CPT codes, 87593, 90611, and 90622, created to streamline reporting of Orthopoxvirus and Monkeypox testing and immunizations, are now available. Visit the AMA website for more information.

Billing Resolved Issues

  • Fixed an issue where users received an error message when running patient eligibility checks
  • Fixed an issue where users received an warning message when approving encounters associated with authorizations
  • Fixed an issue where users were unable to log into Kareo
  • Fixed an issue where users experienced latency or timeout errors
  • Fixed an issue where CPT code 91308 was missing

 


Clinical

Clinical General Improvements

  • Updated Influenza Vaccines to include the 2022-2023 CDC Influenza Immunizations.
  • The Smallpox Monkeypox interdermal vaccine is now available to order, administer as new, or add as historical.
