Apply Appointment Recall Message to a Patient

Kareo's appointment recall tool automatically sends messages to selected patients before they are due for their continuing care. This feature is available only to customers who subscribe to Kareo's Marketing module. Once a recall message has been created, it can be applied to patients through the Recall tab in the patient's record. 

Access the Recall Tab

  1. Enter the first 2–3 letters of the patient's name in the top navigation search box.
  2. Click to select the patient from the auto-populated results. The patient's chart / Face Sheet opens.
  3. Click Recall on the left menu. The patient's and practice's Recall messages display.

Apply Recall Message to a Patient

  1. Click Enable on the right of the selected Recall message. The Edit Recall Message window opens.
  2. Change the message delivery recurrence options and provider sending the message, if desired.
  3. Click in the Start Date box and click on a date in the calendar to begin sending the Recall message.
  4. Click Preview to see how the message will look when sent to the patient.
  5. Click Save when finished. The recall message is added to the patient's Recall message list.
