In the Kareo Calendar Settings, you have the ability to incorporate exam rooms and equipment into your patient appointment workflow.
Navigate to Rooms and Equipment
Once a room has been added, it can be assigned to a patient from the Dashboard during the patient visit.
You can create Rooms to track your patients. When a room is created, it will show up on the Agenda so you can easily assign a patient to it.
Equipment that is added appears in the Calendar and maintains it's own appointment schedule, similar to a provider. Note that equipment does not appear on the Calendar.
Equipment scheduling works just like providers and non-provider staff. Once equipment is added to your account, you can create and view appointments for it in the calendar.
Note that equipment appointments do not show on the Agenda and can only be viewed in the Calendar.
