Search for a Pharmacy

When creating a prescription, the pharmacy last used for the patient is displayed in the Pharmacy field. However, you can look for a different pharmacy by using the Search function. Kareo Clinical is Surescripts certified, enabling you to electronically send prescriptions to any pharmacy in their national network.

  1. Enter the first 2–3 letters of the patient's name in the top navigation bar search box.
  2. Click to select the patient from the auto-populated results. The patient's record opens to the Face Sheet
  3. Click Medications on the left menu. The Medications& page opens.
  4. Click + Prescription. The Prescribe Medication window opens.
