Discontinue Patient Medication

When the patient is no longer taking a medication, mark them as discontinued.

Access Patient Medications Enter the first 2–3 letters of the patient's name or date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy) in the top navigation bar search box. Click to select the patient from the auto-populated results. The patient's Facesheet page opens. Click Medications. The Active Medications page opens.
Discontinue Medication Click to select the medication(s) to discontinue. Click Discontinue. The Discontinue Selected pop-up window opens. Click Yes or Yes, with Comments to confirm. The medication is moved to the Discontinued tab.
