Quality Measures

The Quality category of the MIPS program replaces the previous CMS Incentive Program known as Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS). Most participants should report up to 6 quality measures, including at least one outcome measure or one high-priority measure. Data for the Quality category must be reported for a full year.

Clinicians should select measures based on their specialty, submission method, and the measures supported by their EHR vendor.
