If the payer is not listed when you are transferring the balance of a claim:
- Find and open the Claim you want to fix.
- Double-click on the Case name. This opens the Edit Case window.
- Double-click on the payer you wish to transfer the balance to.
- Verify that the Effective Start and Effective End dates cover the dates of service.
- Verify the "Active" box is checked.
- Click on Save.
