Users with the System Administrator or Biller role can set up their most commonly used procedure and diagnosis codes as favorites to aid in efficiency when creating new charges.
You can view, add or remove code favorites on the New Charge page.
View Code Favorites
Code favorites display in an auto-populated list when the Procedure or ICD field is selected and favorites have been added.
- Access Charges and create a new charge. The New Charge window opens.
- Under the Add Procedure section, click in the Procedure or ICD field. The code favorites list displays below the selected field.
- When finished, click Cancel or complete the new charge as necessary.

Add/Remove Code Favorites
- Access Charges and create a new charge. The New Charge window opens.
- Under the Add Procedure section, click in the Procedure or ICD field and enter the first characters of a code number or description. The list of possible matches displays below the field.
- Locate the desired code(s) in the list. Use the scroll bar if necessary to view more. Codes with yellow stars are favorites and codes with white stars can be selected as a favorite.
- To add a code favorite, click the white star next to the code to select it as a favorite.
- To remove a code favorite, click the yellow star next to the code to deselect it as a favorite.
- When finished, click Cancel or complete the new charge as necessary.
