Preview a Paper Claim

In Kareo Practice Management, a preview of a paper claim cannot be generated before printing the claim. If you have a PDF program like Adobe Reader or Microsoft OneNote, you can print the claims to those programs for viewing as a workaround. However, it will show the information without the CMS 1500 form behind it.

Please follow the standard procedure of printing a paper claim to preview the claim.

Important Note
After printing a preview of a claim to these programs, do not mark these claims as being printed correctly. The status of the claim will remain in “Ready to send claims” so that you can print them again at a later time on a CMS 1500 form. If you mark them as printing correctly, the status of the claim will change to “Pending Insurance.”
