Rejection Message

Rejected by Jopari. Status Message: A6 - Acknowledgement/Rejected for Missing Information - The claim/encounter is missing the information specified in the Status details and has been rejected.; 143 - Entity's state license number. Note: This code requires use of an Entity Code.

This rejection message and solution is specifically for claims billed to payers in FL, NY and TX.

Rejection Details

This rejection indicates that the claim failed Jopari's validation. The State License number required for FL, NY and TX.

Note: If the practice is billing with an individual NPI only, the state license number is not currently being sent to Jopari. These claims may need to be billed on paper. Kareo is working on a solution to resolve the issue.

Resolution

Follow the instructions below to populate the Provider ID:
  1. Click Settings > Providers. The Find Provider window opens.
  2. Look for and open the provider record. The Edit Provider window opens.
  3. Click on the Claim Settings tab.
  4. Click Add. The Override Claim Setting window opens.
  5. Click Insurance Company. The Select Insurance Company window opens.
  6. Look for and select the Department of Labor.
  7. Click the “Show advanced settings” checkbox.
  8. Navigate to the Advanced Electronic Claim Setting section.
  9. Under the Enter up to four additional provider numbers to include in electronic claims, if required by the insurance company section, select 0B State License Number from Type drop-down.
  10. Enter the State License Number in the field to the right under Value.
  11. Click Save all the way out (multiple saves may be required).

Then, rebill and resubmit all affected claims.
