Rejection Details

This rejection indicates the service line(s) was submitted with a Unit Count of 0.

Resolution

Follow the instructions below to add a unit to the service line from the encounter:

  1. Click Encounters > Find Encounter. The Find Encounter window opens.
  2. Click the All tab.
  3. Look for and double-click on the encounter that needs correcting.
  4. Navigate to the Procedures section and enter a unit for service line(s) with 0 under Units.
  5. Click Save & Rebill.

Then, resubmit all affected claims.

Tip: To prevent future rejections, ensure the procedure code(s) is added to the Standard Fee Schedule or Contract Rate to auto-populate the charge.
