Referring Physician Provider Number Missing

This rejection indicates the provider number is missing from the referring physician's record and is required on this claim.

Follow the instructions below to add the
referring provider NPI:

  1. Click Settings > Other Lists > Find Referring Physicians.
  2. Look for and double-click on the referring provider that needs correcting.
  3. Enter the Individual NPI number.
  4. Click Save.

Then, rebill and resubmit all affected claims.
