CLAIM SERVICE LOCATION NPI REQUIRED; PAYER HAS MANDATED USE OF NPI

 

This rejection indicates the payer requires an NPI for the Service Location used to bill the claim.

Please verify with the Payer which NPI they are expecting for the specific Service Location before resubmitting the claim(s).

Follow the instructions below to edit the service location NPI:

  1. Click Settings > Service Location.
  2. Look for and double-click on the service location that needs correcting.
  3. Enter the NPI in the NPI field.
  4. Click Save.

Then, rebill and resubmit all affected claims.
