Reporting: Export Practice Information

It is recommended to generate the following reports if you are closing your practice, cancelling your Tebra account, or would like to manually back up important information from the Desktop Application (PM).

Patient Demographic Export

  1. Click Reports > Patients > Patient Demographic Export. The Patient Demographic Export window opens.
  2. Click Customize. The Customize Report - Patient Demographic Export window opens.
  3. Click the Balance drop-down arrow and select All Balance.
  4. Click OK. The Patient Demographic Export window returns and the report generates then displays Export Completed when finished.

  1. Click Excel or CSV. The Save As dialog box opens then save the file as necessary in a secure folder.

Charges Export

  1. Click Reports > Encounters > Charges Export. The Charges Export window opens.
  2. In the From DOS field, enter a date that is prior to the practice's start date with Tebra.
    Note: Once the date is entered, the Dates field automatically updates with Custom.
  3. Click Refresh. The report generates and displays Export Completed when finished.
  4. Click Excel or CSV. The Save As dialog box opens then save the file as necessary in a secure folder.

Unpaid Insurance Claims Export

  1. Click Reports > Accounts Receivable > Unpaid Insurance Claims Export. The Unpaid Insurance Claims Export window opens.
  2. Click Refresh. The report generates and displays Unpaid Insurance Claim information is ready for export when finished.
  3. Click Excel or CSV. The Save As dialog box opens then save the file as necessary in a secure folder.

Accounts Receivable Aging

  1. Click Reports > Accounts Receivable > A/R Aging. The A/R Aging window opens.
  2. Click Insurance or Patient. The Accounts Receivable By Insurance or Patient displays. For a more detailed report, click the insurance name or patient name.
    Note: Each report needs to be exported separately.

  1. Click Export and select the appropriate option (e.g., Excel, CSV, PDF). The Save As dialog box opens then save the file as necessary in a secure folder.

Standard Fees and Contract Rates

  1. Click Settings > Contracts and Fees. The Contracts and Fees window opens at the Standard Fees tab by default.
  2. Click the fee schedule name to open. The standard fee schedule window opens.
    • To export contract rates, click the Contract Rates tab and click the contract name to open.
  3. Click Save to Excel. The Save As dialog box opens then save the file as necessary.
