Save Reports: Microsoft Excel Format

You can save any report as a Microsoft Excel file. This can be useful if you wish to further customize your reports or import reporting data in to other Microsoft Excel files you have created.

  1. From any opened report, click the Excel button on the Task Button Bar. This opens the standard Windows Save As dialog.
  2. Click the down-arrow on the right of the Save in box to select the folder where you would like the file saved.
  3. In the File name box, enter a name for the file. You do not need to enter the file extension, but do make sure that the Save as type box reads “Microsoft Office Excel Files (*.xls)”.
  4. To access this file at a later time, open Microsoft Excel and navigate to the folder where your file has been saved. Open the file by double-clicking on the file name.
