System Administrators of Kareo Patient Collect (KPC) powered by Stripe activated practices can consolidate their payment processors for front office and back office into one solution with the Stripe credit card terminal. A WisePOS E card reader is used with the Stripe terminal to offer a reliable and secure in-person payments solution that supports chip, swipe, and contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Note: Effective September 14, 2021, the Verifone P400 card reader is no longer available for purchase. However, Stripe and Kareo continues to support the Verifone P400. Review Stripe Terminal Setup: Verifone if one was purchased previously and requires set up.

Purchase WisePOS E Reader

Click Settings > Patient Payments > Log into your Stripe Dashboard. The Stripe Sign in window opens, then enter the Stripe credentials. The Stripe Dashboard opens.
Note: The Stripe Dashboard can also be accessed by going directly to the Stripe Sign in page.
Click More > Terminal. The TERMINAL window opens.
- For the classic dashboard view, click Readers > Hardware orders on the left side menu. The Hardware orders window opens. If the Readers option is not listed, click Settings. Under the Explore more products section, locate the Terminal product and click the add icon. The Terminal pop-up window opens, then click Get started. The Readers option is now listed on the left side menu.
Under the Hardware orders section, click Shop. The Terminal hardware window opens.

Under the Card readers section, click to select the BBPOS WisePOS E card reader. The BBPOS WisePOS E window opens.

Review the WisePOS E card reader details. Then, click to select the appropriate quantity from the drop-down menu > Add to cart. Complete the purchase when ready.
